Job Summary: 

The floating warehouse associate will work primarily as a grocery delivery driver and personal shopper.

Shift Availability:

• Must work a minimum of three shifts per week
• Scheduling is flexible and shifts are chosen by the teammates- as early as two weeks in advance or as late as the same day
• 4 or 8 hour long shifts throughout the day are available
• This is a part-time position- up to 29 hours/week

Sign-on bonus:

All non-exempt new hires will receive a $500 attendance-based sign on bonus from 30 days of hire. Terms apply.

Duties/Responsibilities:

As a driver, responsible for delivering orders to Pinemelon.com customers in a safe and efficient manner while practicing exceptional customer service.

As a personal shopper, responsible to retrieve stock to fill customer orders with special attention to food safety standards and quality and transport orders to the shipping area to ensure timely deliveries.

• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication skills including active listening.

• Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

• Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

• Knowledge of, or ability to learn multiple departments

•Basic understanding of or the ability to learn basic sanitation and regulations for workplace safety.

•Basic understanding of or the ability to learn food handling techniques, preparation, and cooking procedures.

•Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

•Ability to work quickly and efficiently.

•Ability to work well as part of a team.

•Ability to maintain personal hygiene.

•Ability to follow safety rules and guidelines throughout the kitchen and restaurant.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma preferred

Food Handler and/or forklift certification preferred

• Previous hospitality or retail experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

• Prolonged periods of bending, walking, standing, and lifting

Exposure to variable temperatures such as cold present in a refrigerated environment.
